Quote of the Month

"Our most basic instinct is not for survival but for family. Most of us would give our own life for the survival of a family member, yet we lead our daily life too often as if we take our family for granted." ~Paul Pearshall

Share the Joy of the Season

The holiday season is in full swing. The North Wind has begun to whisper of cool days to come. With winter flurries not far behind many of us are beginning to feel the tug of home and hearth.

While you are contemplating that cozy spot in front of your fireplace, singing carols with friends or sipping your mother's famous eggnog concoction let's not forget the importance of sharing your gratitude with those who have been instrumental this year in making these memory-making moments possible.

When was the last time you sent a cheery note to your loyal helper? Whether that person is a family member or a hired assistant, now is the perfect time to say "Thanks." What about those few special clients who continue to sign your praises to those whom they meet? They are worth their weight in gold. Why not let them know how much you appreciate them.

Of course, you should send everyone on your client list the seasonal greeting card. But, why not send something extra special to those exceptional few? It doesn't have to be extravagant, just a heartfelt handwritten note will do? If you can afford it why not consider adding in a token gift? Perhaps a special recipe or better yet, bake up a batch and send it off with your recipe.

Not a Suzie homemaker; no problem. A gift certificate from a favorite friend's business will do just fine. This way you support your friend and endear your client all with one small token. Whatever you decide to share make it unique and personal. Show those special few how important they are to you in some small but significant way this holiday season.

Tip for Success

Article Marketing Tip for Success by Brett Marks, ArticlesBase.com

The article title is the first thing a reader spots, and so do search engines, therefore it is extremely important to catch your audience attention with a powerful message:

In order to stand out among the thousands of articles on article directories it is important to have a clear and convincing title, one that will "impact" the viewer to keep reading.

It is recommended to include relevant keywords in the article's title, but at the same time refrain from using a meaningless title containing only keywords.

For example, an article about loans with the title "loan loans" has no meaning for the reader and will probably drive the potential reader away to another the next article on the subject. Instead, try a title such as "The Loan Little Secret That Can Change Your Life...".
